It is an uncomfortable time in the studio. I don't know if the concept is complete. I don't know if it works. I climbed and re-climbed the ladder, moved hooks around, threw netting around...I just don't know. I will let it rest for a few days and see what I think with fresh eyes. For one thing, the netting is so stiff...maybe I should try chiffon, instead. I might prefer that droopiness. Or maybe no netting, or smooth netting. I don't remember what the floor is at the gallery. Hmm. I'll have to ask.
While I let this all percolate and ferment in my brain, maybe I'll play dress-up...wearing the Wearing My Age outfit for the age 50 and up woman and playing with make-up and shoes.
Maybe I can make a smooth net rug...staple it down... Bind the edges...umm....? I really like how the platform disks look on my floor. So, I guess I need to really find out what the floor is in the gallery.
WEARING MY AGE
I have received a grant from the Jerome Foundation to work on a project that I have called "Wearing My Age."
