The Cow-Hearted Woman series is one incarnation in a group of masked older women who people my work.  These women are invisible to the culture around them,-de-sexed, discarded. They transgress all boundaries with abandon, yet retain their soft, caring hearts. The cow-hearted women hold the beating hearts with great tenderness and care. Pastel.
